my new quest
i will not stop until i eat one of these new japanese kit kats. the japanese version of what may be my least favorite candy bar (which is saying alot considering i don’t like candy bars) could turn out to be my most favorite. instead of chocolate, it’s green tea syrup, red bean paste and cream flavored. for those of you who have never tried this combo, it’s heavenly. served over shaved ice, or even ice cream if you’re decadent, the green tea syrup provides a sharp bite to balance out the sweetness of the red bean paste, making it light and refreshing. the cream just makes it smooth if you serve it over ice. anyhow, i hope genki or one of the other japanese stores sells this.
