10 minutes into the future

o’reilly’s web 2.0 conference started yesterday. tho i’ve been blogging and sharing photos and stuff for years, i’m not creating any web 2.0 apps, so i didn’t think it was worth it to take more time away from phonescoop to attend the conference. my gut feeling was confirmed when i went to the web 2.0 parties last night and the unofficial one (web 1.0) was totally fun and the official was all guys in sportjackets trying to make their next deal. i’ll go to another unofficial web 2.0 party tonight. and then friday afternoon, after the news is done, i’ll head to the web 2.1 brainjam, where hopefully i can convince some crafty developers that mobile devices deserve consideration as viable clients for many web applications.
