putting my knee back together


a very hot medical nutritionist has given me a list of supplements i need to cocktail together to (i hope) get my knee back in working order. though i’ve been able to lift and train, every day that i do takes like two days of recovery. i’m kindof tired of the pain. i’m hoping that i’m tired enough of it that i’ll actually remember to take the pills – which i’m generally very bad at. it’s like 5 pills 2x / day. here’s the recipe:

  • 1500 mg glucosamine sulfate
  • 2500 mg MSM
    (these can usually be found in 1 product, reducing the pill count. but watch the ratio, most have more glucosamine than MSM. also the ones with good ratios tend to have vitamin C, which is another helpful ingredient – a bonus)
  • 10 mg UC-II collagen
  • a ton of omega 3 pills with a little olive oil for extra effectiveness

if i don’t gain 100 pounds from all that friggin oil, i hope to be back on track (literally since i haven’t been able to run) in a month or so.

    And if that doesn’t work, there’s always the cyborg implant option. Side effects may include dizziness, loss of appetite, cyborg knee developing consciousness and attempting to destroy all humans, and slight headache.
